15 years ago, it was the first day of december 1993, a young team started a new radioshow at Radio Hoogeveen. This young team was encouraged by Niels de Roo to make a radioshow that could fill the gap on the radio: Metal music. Metal Warehouse was born.
Now many years later, a lot has changed. Too much to mention all the facts, but one thing always remained the same: The passion to play metal music on the radio.
Now after 15 years, week after week, the show has aired more than 15.000 tracks!! The last 10 years has been very well documented, which gives us the opportunity to play the best of Metal Warehouse. A complete list has been created of all the songs we have played in this period. This list gives some very nice statistics about the most played bands, albums, songs etc. Next Friday you can expect our own top 20! Check out this impressive list here!!
Currently Metal Warehouse is the oldest metal show on the dutch radio still active and no plans have been made to retire.
